The core services offered at ianTEACH adhere to a modified ADDIE pedagogy (A-Analysis, D-Design, D-Development, I-Implementation, E-Evaluation) infused with project management principles, building commissioning techniques and AEC industry expertise.  ianTEACH's projects usually comprise of 1 or more of the following 5 process stages:

  4. DELIVER EXPERIENCE
  5. DETERMINE. IMPACT

Performance Requirements Workshops

Prior to instructing trainees, a relationship is built with them, either individually or as a group.  Interviews or workshops are convened to assess the following:

  • Current "Pains"
  • Current "Gains"
  • Optimal Learning Channels
  • A real or virtual tour of current/future job processes
  • A draft Learning Content (or Minimum Viable Product)

This preliminary service drives out performance requirements, which form the instructional and learning objectives to be achieved in the future via training and coaching.

DEFINE OBJECTIVES

Strategic Performance Training

This service concentrates on design strategy - it answers the question: "How will the performance requirements (objectives) be met?" 

Suitable qualitative and quantitative KPIs are identified to assess past performance and future improvements.  For example, historical project management data such as revenue variances and EACs (Estimates at Completion) or building commissioning data such as no. of pending issues, resolved issues, RFIs (Requests for Information) or COs (Change Orders) can be investigated.

Course format and features (live, online, blended, durations, breaks, group activities, assignments, etc.) are also designed.

DESIGN STRATEGY

Build Custom Courses

Armed with the knowledge of the instructional and learning objectives to be achieved and a suitable format for the course, content is then developed.  This can be built by developing brand new content or by modifying pre-existing content for a renewed focus.

Care is taken during this service to continually review deliverables to verify if they are meeting the originally defined requirements.  This will lead to successful outcomes and value to ianTEACH's clients.

DELIVER EXPERIENCE

Coaching, Measurement & Verification Analysis 

This service is a cornerstone of ianTEACH's mission - to maximize the return on investments (ROI) - to make a difference - to be impactful!

This can only be achieved by first " measuring what matters".  Then through performance coaching, ianTEACH will come alongside and walk alongside groups and/or individuals to verify if principles trained on earlier are being applied correctly and key results are being obtained.  Predetermined lagging and leading KPIs are used to accomplish this service.

DETERMINE IMPACT
